Malaysia Golf

Golf is really up and coming in Malaysia. There are almost 200 courses already, and more being planned. It is vast becoming one of the best tourist golf destinations in Asia.

Langkawi is an island of the west coast of Malaysia, close to Thailand. We had four-day stopover with Malaysia Airlines before continuing ont to Kuala Lumpur and New Zealand. The island is very pretty, with lots of local culture and cuisine, and it is a haven for scuba diving, sailing, and playing golf.

There are three 18 hole golf courses on Langkawi:

– Datai Golf Club
– Langkawi Golf Club
– Gunung Ray Golf Resort
