Lisbon

Lisbon is one of our favourite cities. We love coming back, because of the relaxed atmosphere, the rich heritage there is to discover, the all too sweet pastries from the Pastelerias and to enjoy the tragic Fado songs. But we especially enjoy Lisbon due to our family who always welcome us with open arms and who will not take no for an answer if we are too full to eat another bite of lovely scrumptious food.

Our top 3 highlights:
– The great miradores (viewpoints) over the old town
– The neigbourhood of ​​Belém, with its amazing monuments and exquisite Pasteis de Belém
– The old city of Sintra in the hills, just 25 km outside of Lisbon, with the Quinta da Regaleira, Castelo dos Mouros and Paláçio da Pena
